Stations of the Cross

During the Lenten period all students in Y9-Y10 are invited to reflect and pray on the sacrifice of Christ through the ‘Stations of the Cross’ devotion, a series of 14 moments on the last day of Jesus life. 

Lenten Assemblies and Liturgy

With the whole church we mark the start of the Lenten period on Ash Wednesday with a liturgy. Throughout lent our assemblies are focused on the themes giving, fasting, repenting and praying in preparation  to receive Jesus on Easter day.   To end our Lenten period in school we celebrate with an Easter liturgy.  

Easter Charity drives

To follow Jesus’ teaching to give alms we as a school community have a second large charity drive during the Lenten season. Foodbank donations reached over 2300 items last year.

Reconciliation

The opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered to our students in the Lenten season.
